Robust AVC / HEVC Decoder in presence of Data Loss

The software described in this page decodes an AVC-compliant or HEVC-compliant bitstream applying some loss patterns as given in an input file. Please note that the software simulates the data loss (in a pretty realistic way) by operating on the UNCORRUPTED version of the bitstream. This allows to avoid crashes, erroneous output of frames etc. independently of the loss pattern. Databases

Currently, the software is being used to generate the data of the expanded HEVC database available in this wiki at: JEG_no-reference_hybrid_HEVC#Priority_list
